Pulsar Ellipse
- MGE's all new Pulsar ellipse
is the UPS of choice to maximize the availability
of PCs and workstations in small and home office
environment.
- Their distinctive, compact and
lightweight design is the result of MGE's heavy

- Pulsar ellipse uses a HID type
communications protocol, the new standard for
computer peripherals. The USB port forwards
to the computer the necessary UPS information,
including backup time, battery status and alarms.
- The Pulsar ellpise USB
models are certified by the USB implementers
Forum and are integrated automatically in Windows
2000 (Hot Plug-and-Play function) and Apple
Mac OS (>9.0.4) ellipse USB models are available
with three power levels:

Pulsar ESV+
- Pulsar EXtreme C UPSs have been
designed to meet the needs of modern equipment,
including network, intranet and internet servers,
internetworking devices, computer and telecom
(PBX) centres, medical equipment and sensitive
industrial processes.
- Pulsar EXtreme C is available
in both tower and rack versions with power ratings
from 700 to 1500 VA.
- Pulsar EXtreme C UPSs use double
conversion (on-line) technology, the only way
to overcome all power problems.
- The battery is used only as a
backup source. Whatever the disturbances on
the distribution system, the waveform is regenerated
via the A to D then D to A conversion process.
- Pulsar EXtreme C UPSs have a
very wide input-voltage range from 120 to 276
V, optimised to improve compatibility with engine
generator sets and reduce the number of transfers
to battery power. The batteries are used only
for the most serious incidents, maximising available
backup time and extending battery life.
